She's always been one to help those in need as best as she's able, and Beyonce Knowles has once again made a hefty donation to a cause in which she believes.
The 30-year-old new mom and songwriter Diane Warren teamed up in
deciding to donate the song "I Was Here" to World Humanitarian Day.
Having launched a campaign website on Thursday (August 2), Beyonce
also revealed plans to shoot a video for the track on August 19th in
front of a live crowd at the United Nations General Assembly Hall in New
York City.
In a video tied to her World Humanitarian Day efforts, Miss Knowles
is heard saying, "We all see the headlines and we think what can I
really do to help?"
"World Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work
together to make a difference," she added. "This is our time to leave
our mark on the world and show that we were here and we care."
